THROWING CLASSES
BOOK YOUR POTTERY CLASS
We don’t have any products to show here right now.
This course is mainly for beginners who would like to try throwing on the potter’s wheel. We recommend taking our pottery classes prior to this course as having some knowledge of how the clay behaves is helpful.
In this course, you will learn wedging techniques and how to center clay, throw simple shapes and turn them. You will also learn how to pull handles for mugs and jug. I will show you how to treat the surface using the turning wheel and sculpting tools.
This course focuses on the very basic skills to manage clay on the wheel and is for a small group class for only 2 to 3 people so you will get my full attention.
WHAT INCLUDED IN THE COURSE
This course fee does NOT include material and firing costs. There will be a small charge of £4 per every kg you want fired.
